Hi! I’m Tara, I’m from the Midwest (St. Paul, Minnesota specifically) and I’ve been “plus size” since I was in elementary school. I didn’t really begin to feel “ok” with my body until well into my 20s when I finally stopped trying to wear what was trendy and instead wore what made me feel comfortable and confident in my own body. I have what is considered a pear shaped body meaning that I carry the majority of my weight in my stomach, hips, and thighs.

I get genuinely excited when I’m asked where I found “xyz” because I love sharing the brands/stores/influencers that have been game changers for me – which is how we ended up here!

I am 5’10 and generally a US 16/18 top and 18/20 bottom, but my biggest piece of advice is to know your measurements, because the single most frustrating thing about women’s fashion is that no two brands have the same sizing.
